A whole new way of looking at business

"What if there was a way to more quickly look at problems, more intuitively understand them, more confidently address them, and more rapidly convey to others what we've discovered? What if there was a way to make business problem solving more efficient, more effective, and - as much as i hate to say it - perhaps even a bit more fun?
There is. It's called visual thinking.

Visual thinking means taking advantage of our innate ability to see - both with our eyes and with our mind's eye - in order to discover ideas that are otherwise invisible, develop those ideas and then share them with other people in a way that they simly "get"

Motion itself can be the message

Motion is a universal language. In motion graphics, it can have more impact than the actual content being animated. The method that you choose to move an element across the screen can enhance its meaning.

Capacity for learning and emotion

"Our capacity for learning is often linked with our emotional state. Frustration and confusion certainly make for a less receptive audience. Prepare a path for your message by first setting your user at ease."

Engage multiple stimuli

"By incorporating supporting layers of information in the form of type, images, and, when possible, tactile and aural experiances, the designer is able to engage multiple stimuli, creating a more memorable and meaningful experiance."

Ken Visocky O'Grady

Value of design

"Consider, that information delivery is dependent on clarity of communication to retain its relevance to a global audience. Designers provide that context by turning statistics into stories, providing meaning for the end user. As our world becomes more complex, this expertise is increasingly important to the ways in which we live, work, and share ideas. "

Ken Visocky O'Grady

Users are lazy

"Users don't want to think, they just want to understand."

Ken Visocky O'Grady

Communicate clear

"With communication technology spreading rapidly, clear visual (and sometimes nonverbal) communication is of paramount importance when sharing ideas and concepts with a broad audience."

Ken Visocky O'Grady

How to communicate?

"In a age of information and global connectivity, governments, corporations, educational institutions, and individuals alike struggle to find better ways to communicate. "

Print and Motion

"The visual power of images, the connotative power of typography,
and the union between these elements are the foundations of
effective graphic design. These dynamic elements function as a visual
language when they are combined on the printed page or in a
timebased enviroment. In contrast to static designs, which can imply
or inspire stories, imbuing visual and verbal information with
the dimensions of motion and time can tell stories with expression,
clarity, and meaning."
